Kingston vs OCZ DDR2-800MHz Memory Benchmarking Cont.
The Corsair doesn't see quite the same increase as before, but the 1GB kit still lagging behind the rest of the field. In all, the tested modules are barely separated at all during testing.

The graphics card was changed to a 7900GTX and the resolution was set to 1024x768 0xAA 0xAF, but the game details were set to maximum so that the graphics card was taken out of the equation and the subsystem was mainly tested.

There is very little difference between the tested cards, even compared to the expensive OCZ FlexXLC 9200 memory at 1066MHz, low latency it only performs a few frames per second more which is hardly noticable.

We also tested a 6200 Turbo Cache card which uses the main memory a lot more for texture storage, but the cards performance was so poor that it negated any difference between the memory modules at all.

Obviously some games with large maps, like Oblivion, will beneift from 2GB of ram over 1GB, however the speed difference doesn't appear to matter.
